I loved the Tamiya 1/700 I-16 & I-58 Submarine Kit. In regards to the other comment, this kit really is approx 6" x 1/2" but thats because its at a 1/700 scale. My kit also came with Waterline Series extras for this kit, like guns, 4 japanese planes, boats, radars, etc.. i personal really enjoyed making this model. it took me two days to air brush and assemble. Be careful when cutting out small pieces cause they can go flying off when you cut them or disappear on you if you leave it flying around. good model kit =]

This product is not at all as described. According to the product description, it's 8.8 inches long and 3 inches wide. In reality it's 6 inches long and less than half an inch wide. It also comes in one million little pieces that you have to assemble. The educational pamphlet describing each sub is quite good, but not enough to make up for how disappointing the toy is. We will be returning this item.
